Alcohol and Drug Prevention Policy

California Aeronautical University has developed an Alcohol and Drug Prevention Policy to comply with the requirements set forth by the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act Amendments of 1989.

 

Annual Security and Fire Safety Report

California Aeronautical University prepares and publishes the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act). The purpose of this report is to provide information relating to campus safety and security in an effort to aid current and future students as well as current and future employees in making informed decisions regarding the University. CAU has implemented the requirements of California Senate Bill 967, an amendment to the Education Code, into this report. The Code requires schools to adopt policies concerning student safety and sexual assault.

 

Anti-Harassment and Discrimination Policy

CAU is committed to providing an environment free of unlawful harassment or discrimination. In support of this commitment, the University has created an Anti-Harassment and Discrimination Policy.

State of California Approval

CAU’s approval to operate in the State of California as a private postsecondary institution is based on the provisions of the California Private Postsecondary Education Act (CPPEA) of 2009 (California Education Code, Title 3, Division 10, Part 59, Chapter 8), which is effective January 1, 2010. CAU under section 94802(a) of CPPEA, will by operation of law, be approved until December 2016. The Act is administered by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education, under the Department of Consumer Affairs.
