Navigate The Skies

When your job is moving aircraft and people through the sky, it’s never a dull day at the office!

Aviation Dispatch is a critically important part of the aviation industry. Proper flight planning and coordination has many variables a dispatcher must consider and incorporate into the planning process. Weather, aircraft maintenance, FAA airspace, airport layout, air traffic volume and aircraft performance are all factors that affect flight planning and dispatch. CAU’s aviation dispatch school is located at the University’s dedicated complex at Bakersfield International Airport and features a flight planning room, dispatch center and several flight simulator rooms. Students participate in hands-on training in a realistic setting under the guidance of knowledgeable instructors.
