California Aeronautical University has partnered with several regional airlines to create opportunities for their graduates upon completion of their professional pilot degree program. Strong and growing relationships between the University and important airline partners are critical to the success of CAU graduates entering the field.
CAU graduates qualify for the SkyWest Airlines Pilot Cadet Program.
Program participants receive a conditional offer of employment and SkyWest company ID. Additionally, cadets are mentored by SkyWest pilots and are guaranteed an interview for a first officer position with the Airline.

Graduates of the professional pilot programs at CAU may also qualify for Piedmont Airline’s Cadet Program.
Those accepted into the Program will receive Piedmont support as their hours, training and experience grow. Cadets are also eligible for tuition reimbursement and mentorship opportunities with airline industry experts.
Through a seniority-based flow through program, pilots at Piedmont are eligible to flow to American Airlines, the largest airline in the world with the highest-paid pilots operating the youngest fleet among the U.S. legacy carriers, with no additional interview required.

CAU students eligible for GoJet Airlines Wingman Pipeline Program.
Students in the program may receive $10,000 in tuition reimbursement upon completing GoJet Airlines’ First Officer Training. Plus, Wingman interns can earn $2,500 for every pilot they refer to GoJet that is hired and successful in their training.
Wingman interns are mentored by a GoJet Captain or experienced First Officer throughout the duration of their internship and receive GoJet training materials months prior to reporting for class to increase their chances of success in our training program.
